School House

2022. Bronze. PRIVATE RESIDENCE, Burlington, VT.

We were inspired by the idea of breaking through the surface of the building, which we did by engaging a school of fish to weave in and out of the facade’s corrugated waves.

Each of the 50 fish is a unique, individual sculpture. Their raw, unfinished bronze surfaces will develop a patina over time, or could be polished to regain their sun-catching brilliance.
